PostHog page views and visitors without opening each project

PostHog does far more than web analytics, which makes the simple numbers easy to lose. When each site or app has its own PostHog project, getting this week's page views for all of them means opening an insight in every project.

Ertori runs small aggregate queries against each project with a personal API key, and shows page views, visitors and sessions per site in the same rows as the store numbers and payments for each product.

Give the key three read scopes

Create a personal API key with Query: Read, Project: Read and Organization: Read, and give it access to the projects you want. PostHog shows the key once.

Pick the matching region

US and EU Cloud are separate. A key created on eu.posthog.com only works against the EU host, so choose the region where your projects live.

Queries have hourly limits

PostHog's query API allows 240 requests a minute and 2,400 an hour per project, and personal keys also draw on an hourly read budget. Ertori runs one small daily rollup per project at a time to stay inside them.
