Stripe revenue next to the traffic that brought it
Stripe's dashboard is good at money and silent about everything else. When you run a few products, often with a Stripe account each, revenue sits in one place, traffic in another and app store proceeds in a third, and a slow week takes three tabs to explain.
Ertori reads each Stripe account with a restricted key that has Read permissions only and attaches it to a project. That row then shows revenue and MRR beside the product's visitors, downloads and new feedback, and adds to any Paddle or Lemon Squeezy income on the same project.
What you get
- Revenue: gross charges from balance transactions, so totals match Stripe's balance reports.
- Proceeds: net of Stripe fees and refunds.
- Refunds: refunded amounts, on the day they happened.
- MRR: active and past-due subscriptions normalised to a month, Stripe's own definition, recomputed at most every 6 hours.
- Subscriptions: customers with MRR above zero. New customers: customers created that day.
- Real time, checked every 30 minutes; the first sync pulls 90 days.

Good to know
No read-only OAuth for new apps
Stripe Connect's read_only OAuth is limited to legacy extensions, and Stripe Apps OAuth requires publishing on the Stripe App Marketplace after review. A restricted key with Read permissions is the way Stripe recommends for sharing access with a third party.
Check the permissions on the form
The Create the key link tries to pre-select Read on Balance, Charges and Refunds, Customers, Products, Prices, Subscriptions, Invoices and Coupons. If the form opens empty, set those eight to Read yourself and leave everything else at None. Stripe asks for two-factor confirmation when you create it.
MRR history starts when you connect
Stripe's own MRR metric is only in a private-preview Analytics API, so Ertori computes MRR from your subscriptions as a daily snapshot. Revenue, refunds and new customers are backfilled for 90 days; the MRR line begins on the day you connect.
Questions
- Can the key issue refunds or change prices?
- No. A restricted key with only Read permissions can't create charges, refunds, prices or customers. To revoke it, open the key's menu in Stripe and choose Expire key. Disconnecting in Ertori deletes the stored copy and everything pulled with it.
- Two products share one Stripe account. Can I split them?
- Not today. A Stripe account is one source and joins one project, so attach it to the product that earns most of the money, or give it a project of its own.
- How does Stripe combine with Paddle or the App Store?
- On the web, payment sources add up: Stripe, Paddle and Lemon Squeezy on one project are different money. App store revenue is counted per platform, so a product that sells on the web and in the App Store shows both.
- Can Claude answer revenue questions?
- On Pro. Ask for MRR across all products, refunds this month or which product's revenue moved most, and your Claude reads the same Stripe numbers as the dashboard.
