Cloudflare Web Analytics, every site at once

Cloudflare Web Analytics is free, needs no cookie banner and may already be on if your sites run on Cloudflare. The dashboard still shows one site at a time, keeps six months, and knows nothing about the apps those sites are there to sell.

Sign in with Cloudflare, or paste a token from a pre-filled form, and Ertori reads page views and visits for every Web Analytics site in the account. If you also store feedback in a D1 table, the same token covers it.

What you get

  • Views: the count of page load events, Cloudflare's page view number.
  • Sessions: Cloudflare visits, meaning page views that started from another site or a direct link.
  • Visitors: also filled from visits, because Cloudflare doesn't count unique people.
  • Near real time, refreshed every 15 minutes.
  • Up to 6 months of history, Cloudflare's retention for Web Analytics.

Good to know

There is no unique visitor count

Cloudflare reports page views and visits only, with no unique visitors and no bounce rate. Ertori puts visits in the Visitors column so the site lines up with your others, but it is a count of visits, not people.

Older days are sampled

Cloudflare keeps unsampled beacon data for 7 days, then aggregates it to roughly 10%. Older figures are estimates that often end in 0, and very small sites can show empty days.

Check the token summary before you create it

The pre-filled link ticks Account Analytics, Account Settings and D1 as Read, but it grants all your accounts until you pick one under Account Resources. Cloudflare also drops unknown permissions silently, so confirm the three read permissions on the summary screen.

Ad blockers hide some visits

Many ad blockers block the Web Analytics beacon, so treat the numbers as a floor rather than an exact count.

Questions

What does the Cloudflare sign-in allow?
Read-only scopes for Account Analytics, Account Settings and D1. It can't touch DNS, Workers or any setting, and any SQL sent to D1 is limited to SELECT.
Some sites are in GA4 too. Which one counts?
The other tool. Cloudflare is last in the order for web traffic (GA4, Plausible, Fathom, Umami, PostHog, Vercel, Cloudflare), so it fills in for sites that have nothing else and is never added on top.
Can I connect more than one Cloudflare account?
Yes, add each account as a separate source. Sites from all of them appear in one list and can each join their own project.
Will Claude see paths and referrers?
No. Ertori pulls daily page views and visits per site, and that's what your Claude can read on Pro. Paths, referrers and countries stay in Cloudflare.
