Umami, Cloud or self-hosted, for all your websites
Plenty of indies self-host Umami to keep analytics cheap and private, and end up with one more login that only knows about websites. Opening it next to the App Store, Stripe and the review consoles is the part that never happens.
Point Ertori at Umami Cloud or your own server and every website on the account joins the project list with visitors, page views and visits, refreshed every 15 minutes.

Good to know
API keys need Umami 3.4 or newer
Self-hosted Umami added API keys in version 3.4. On older servers, connect with the username and password of a view-only user instead.
Keys carry your full account rights
An Umami API key can do anything your account can. Ertori only calls read endpoints, but on a self-hosted server the safer setup is a separate view-only user.
Umami Cloud's API is on paid plans
On Umami Cloud the API needs Pro or higher. Self-hosted Umami has it for free.
Questions
- Is my Umami password stored?
- Only if you use the password method, which exists for self-hosted Umami older than 3.4. Like every key in Ertori it is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and deleted when you disconnect. Use a view-only user for it.
- Why are visitors and sessions the same number?
- Umami's Visitors figure is its count of daily sessions, so both columns use it. Page views come separately.
- How does an Umami site join its app?
- A website joins the project with the matching name, so the site for an app sits in the same row as its App Store and Google Play numbers. If the site is also in GA4, Plausible or Fathom, that tool wins for traffic and Umami isn't added on top.
